Grades and Grading
You will have a programming project to work on each day in class. Each project is worth 10 points. If you do not finish all of the projects before the day of the test, you may still come in outside of class to make them up. However, all late assignments must be completed BEFORE the test on the next unit, without penalty. After the test on the next unit, no late work will be accepted.
In addition to a daily project, there will be a separate grade given for participation points in each unit. These points are based on what employers call "Soft Skills." See the attached rubric (here).
You will have a comprehensive test at the end of each unit. This will involve a paper/pencil test in addition to a programming project. Each part of this test is worth 100 points (for a total of 200 points).
